Newtown Rotary Club

District Governor John McDowell recently joined us at the club to present Newtown High School student Mollie Hughes with her National Young Writer Award.
Also present were Rtn Paul Crosby (District Youth Opportunities Chairman) and Rtn Betty Wood (District Young Writer Organiser).
The regional competition was judged by local author Jenny Nimmo and Nick Knight of the County Times.
It was also an honour to have Hannah Wilkinson (President of Interact) and two of her fellow interactors at the presentation.

It was a pleasurable night and an honour for Newtown.
